Jeff and Deanne grew up in homes with both sets of parents serving in ministry. Jeff dedicated his life to serve the Lord as a missionary at age 7 and Deanne did the same at age 6. They both graduated from the Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY. Jeff completed his college education at Cedarville College and Deanne at Baptist Bible College. Jeff received his MM from Baptist Bible College and is currently enrolled in the MDiv Equivalency program at Baptist Bible Seminary. While preparing for the mission field Jeff served as a youth pastor and pastor for 16 years in New York.
The Davoll family left for language school in Costa Rica on 8/8/08 and then moved to Ecuador on 9/9/09. The Lord allowed them to begin La Iglesia Bautista La Conexion a La Esperanza (The Baptist Church, The Connection to the Hope) on 10/10/10 and to teach in their first pastor’s conference on 11/11/11. No, they are not into numerology but are sure that the Lord is not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance. The church has grown from a beginning of 19 in the Davoll’s living room to over one hundred in attendance.
Jeff serves as the field team leader for the ABWE missionaries serving in Ecuador. Deanne is a godly wife and mother who home schools her children and helps disciple the ladies of the church and the new missionary wives on the field. Their ABWE Team Ecuador grew from 2 adult missionaries to 13 adults serving in 3 different locations in Ecuador since 2011. Their heartbeat is to begin leadership training ministries in their current church and to plant another church in the next term. God has opened doors for police chaplaincy throughout the country as time permits.
The four Davoll Children, Bethany (21), Jordan (19), Amanda (18), and Lukas (15) are not just missionary kids, they are kid missionaries. They are a great asset in the ministry and have served as missionaries alongside their parents. Bethany is at Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Fl, and studying elementary education preparing to serve the Lord in Ecuador. Jordan is in his 2nd year at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY. After completion of his pastoral studies major at Trinity, he is preparing to serve as a missionary in Ecuador utilizing sports as a way to share the gospel. Amanda is a senior in high school and has been playing soccer at one of the local universities for the past 2 years. Her heartbeat for the Ecuadorian girls is evident as she shares the gospel with them regularly. Lukas, once school is done, is off riding his bike with his “band of merry men.” He often brings them to the house to watch a Christian movie or for his daddy to answer their questions about our faith. Everyone knows and loves Lukas. We look forward to how God will use this next generation of missionaries for His Glory.
